Nthoto Chonela

Deputy President

Nthoto Chonela is a seasoned business leader with over 20 years of experience in banking and enterprise development across South Africa and Lesotho. She holds an MBA from the Business School of Netherlands, alongside qualifications in banking, management, and leadership.

An accredited facilitator, assessor, and professional debt counsellor, she is also an International Labour Organisation (ILO) trainer with extensive expertise in financial management, business development, and mentorship.

Nthoto has served as Provincial Chairperson and National Treasurer General of SAWIC, contributing to national governance and strategic leadership. She is the Director of Silver Streak Training & Business Consultancy and Mochon Projects (Pty) Ltd, providing training, consulting, and mentorship services to SMMEs in partnership with organisations such as SEDA and other enterprise development programmes.

Her work spans financial literacy training, enterprise development, stakeholder engagement, and empowerment initiatives across the Free State and beyond.
